  • I decided to take a 2 day trip from Buffalo to Toronto with my wife and kids. I booked through Expedia and thought I got a great deal but let me tell you what I got instead : Be prepared to pay 13.50 to park. I have never had to pay to park before at any hotel in any major city so this came as a huge shock. We got to our room and it was still dirty and looked like it was stuck in the 1950s. We were willing to live with the room until my son went to take a shower and stepped on a razor that was used and left behind by the people who slept in the room the night before. That set my wife off and promoted a call to the front desk. They moved us to a different room that was a little cleaner and at least had a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The view from our windows included a creepy indoor pool, unlimited cigarette butts on the ground, and my personal favorite a chicken leg that had been tossed onto the roof. This was single handedly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank God it was only for one day because if it wasn't I would have changed hotels upon waking through the front door of the hotel. Never ever again !!
