  • I've been trying to find a great stylist for some time. After a few hair mishaps, I thought I'd try Jerome because of their high reviews. The building is quite nice - I didn't bother trying to squeeze my car into their parkade and opted for street parking instead. Upon walking into the salon, I was whisked upstairs to a waiting room full of people with their noses in the air. I thought this part of my first visit to Jerome was a bit ridiculous. Apparently this is where Calgary's rich and famous come. It's Calgary, everyone has money here. Come on people. My stylist was Nicola, and she was very attentive to what I wanted. The cut and colour wasn't anything overly unique or special, but she was a good stylist and someone I'd return to. The pricing was quite average for a mid-level stylist. I'll stay at Jerome salon for now, however, I could do without the snobby middle-aged ladies.
