| - We are from Arizona, so I guess we had what you would call a, "staycation". We went here strictly for the water park that they had here.
We booked for one night in the king suite, for my husband, son & myself.
We walked into the room and it's very nice & enough room for all of us. We saw that there was an open bar in our room. Stocked with soda, candies, snacks, but failed to mention that you had to pay for every single thing that you could buy from Circle K for half the price. We didn't even realize it until we had opened a water that was $6.50. It wouldn't have been so bad if they would have mentioned it cost an arm and a leg. I only found out it cost money because I saw a little piece of paper that blended in with the ice bucket.
We then go outside to the wave pool and water amenities. There's really not much room at alll. I understand there are a lot of people, but we were expecting MUCH more from this place. There was one little pool by our room, but if there were more than 5 people it would be a crowd.
The slides were really scary. I don't recommend it to anyone that is scared of heights, or just scared of things in general ha.
In all truthfulness, we ended up going back to our house at midnight.
I guess it's a nice place if you're from out of town, but not something I would recommend for a "staycation".
I think I just maybe picky though ;)
