  • I have been to this place four times, the first two times were ok. The staff had been friendly, but my experience was average. The third time I went to get a gel manicure, they suggested I use a new gel polish they had. What they failed to tell me was that the polish would cost extra. Since they had already taken the sample polish colors away I told them it would be ok. The main problem with this visit resulted from the fact that the polish began to crack and peel 4 days after I had my nails done, gel is supposed to last 3 weeks. I could not make it in to fix my nails until about 10 days after I had the polish put on, by this time, all my nails were cracked and peeling. They agreed to fix it for free, but with the same polish I had on, which to me seemed silly because that meant I had to come back in 4 days to get them fixed again. Anyway, after asking for a new polish they said they would charge me $10, so I agreed. The person they assigned me to put on the new polish seemed pretty upset about having to fix my nails, which made me nervous because she was using the filing tool to remove the gel polish, After she was done my nails hurt because she filed my nails too much, but at this point I just wanted to be done so I did not say anything. I picked a new polish, again I was told it would cost extra for the polish I picked, but it was too late for me to pick a new color so i just went with it. I wish they would label their colors based on cost, I don't mind paying extra, but I would like to know upfront what I will be charged for, so that they don't keep adding to the price with every single thing they do. The nail repair was not good at all, My nails looked smeared on the sides and uneven throughout. unfortunately the only person who is detailed and friendly in this place is Tina, and she normally does not do manicures from beginning to end, she only does the art for the nails. I will not be returning to this place.
