I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Lazy Jane on my trip to Madison, and I'm so glad that I made the trip to the east side to have brunch at this wonderful place. The line was out the door when I arrived, and it does take a while to make your way to the counter to order if that is the case. However, the service was incredibly friendly, and I enjoyed looking at all of the scrumptious baked goods and scones on my way to the cash register.
I chose the chorizo scramble. It was amazing, and the portions were so large that I could not finish it. There were so many creative dishes to choose from, but I was certainly happy with this one.
The space is like a cute charming old house, and I enjoyed reading the New York Times while I had my coffee and breakfast. Kudos for the coffee refills too!
