My family decided to visit Rock Bottom Brewery while spending a day in Arrowhead. Originally we were very excited to eat at a restaurant whose other location was considered one of our favorites prior to closing their doors at Desert Ridge Marketplace. We entered the restaurant and were greeted by a hostess that was very kind and offered us a high top because no booths were available. We decided to sit in what we thought was the bar. As we sat in the bar, we noticed numerous booths that were sitting dirty and unavailable. We continued to sit without seeing as much as one waitress pass by and not acknowledge us at all. Finally after 10 minutes the hostess passed us, and made us aware we were not sitting in the bar, but the dining room and if we wanted service, we'd need to move to the bar if we desired to be seen by one of the few wait staff.
After moving to a location in the bar, it took about five minutes to be acknowledged by a waiter who said he'd be back to take our drink order. I decided to order an Arnold Palmer (iced tea/lemonade), only to be made aware they were out of lemonade and made me a makeshift Arnold Palmer out of iced tea and sweet'n'sour mix from the bar. After placing our order with our waiter, we probably saw him only a handful of times from drink order to check paid. In all honesty, it seemed like they were dangerously understaffed and unprepared for any sort of lunch rush on a Sunday mid afternoon.
