| - I love browsing through Whole Foods and I could do it for hours.
Their fish and meat are fresh and there are so many different types of healthy snacks and foods. They offer a wide range of ready-to-eat foods such as a salad, soup, hot food bar. Their summer kale salad is delicious! (Who knew that kale could be so yummy without all the bitterness). They also offer pizza, bread, cakes, vegan gummies, you name it. I like to try a lot of their pre-made stuff here to get some inspiration for my own cooking.
I love their chocolates - though they are quite pricey, so be careful on how much you get.
If you're into holistic medicine or supplements, Whole Foods offers it as well. They offer most of the basics, but they are pricier than other health food stores such as Healthy Planet. I guess I have bought some things here because of the convenience. If you are buying a lot, I would recommend you to go to another health food store.
Additionally, there is a small aisle on natural cosmetics where you can test a lot of the stuff. I haven't come across too many places in Toronto that have a lot of natural cosmetics so Whole Foods seems like a great place to test them out.
Overall, it's a fun place to check out but I wouldn't do my main groceries here (unless you can afford it). I can find the same things at different locations for cheaper but it definitely has a huge selection to make up for it!
