  • Absolute Comedy is my favourite comedy club in Ottawa, so I was pleased to see it's doing so well that it has expanded to Toronto. This club is much bigger than its Ottawa counterpart. With seating that accommodates 300 people, it may not be as difficult to see a popular show as it can be in Ottawa. However, I still recommend making reservations. When I went on Saturday to the final night of a Bite TV comedian competition, the line up was huge. The prices are higher than in Ottawa, but they're still cheaper than Yuk Yuk's most nights. They're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays with an amateur/pro night on Wednesdays for $6. On the second Tuesday of every month, they also have their Dark Show, which features much more risque uncensored comedy than their usual shows. Make sure to fill out those comment cards too. My friends and I have won so many free tickets from occasionally doing that in the past.
