I raised my expectations waaaay too high after seeing KÀ...
After seeing the show at MGM two years prior, I was so pumped for this one. And to sum it in one word: disappointing.
The set was nice. The theater was smaller than expected and when I bought the seats, I wasn't too enthusiastic about our view but it was decent. I looked on Yelp before and a lot of people said this show is for the beginners and I think it really was.
The acts were so anticlimactic. It would have a huge buildup but the tricks are less exciting than those by street performers outside hotels on the Strip you can see for free. I counted and the performers messed up 4 times. I was so on the edge because I thought someone was going to get hurt. By the fourth time I was like really? you're professionals? The songs were alright background music.
I found the costumes to be pretty basic. Oh god, the hosts though... There were two clowns and they were so. annoying. The humor is juvenile and I think the only people getting pleasure out of this show would be children 6 and under. I got bored halfway through.
The show ended after an hour and a half, and although I wanted it to end, I thought, that was it??? I paid so much for a mediocre show?
I have hope in Cirque Du Soleil. I bet this one was just a bad lemon I stumbled upon (cheap tickets and the only show that fit my vacation timing). Go watch KÀ or O.
This one isn't worth the time nor money.
