| - I have to concur with Danielle B's review; not only have they reduced their customer service footprint by closing the drive thru, and inside service windows, but also, they recently closed their branch at the Bell Road Fry's; and installed ATMs that can't be read in sunlight (hey Chase - this is Arizona). Their continued reduction in employee staff places an unfair burden on the remaining unfortunate few.
While CEO Dimon is receiving multi-million dollar compensation increases, and investors are booking a loss this year, rank-and-file employees are running for cover, searching for new jobs; and spending lots of time apologizing to customers.
Their online customer service is rapidly deteriorating with off-shore anonymous robo responses that take 60 or more days to get "escalated" to a human being. This of course is just the continuing trend to get out of the consumer banking business. I recently received a robo response, for the third time, "you will be receiving a response within 24 hours", to a letter I wrote in June 2015, The response - another robo response - did not address the issue I raised in my June correspondence.
This bank continues to solicit me to transfer a CD to them; methinks not.
Although this bank is the closest to me, I'm unwinding my business there, transferring direct deposits, credit card lines, and deposit accounts.
I hesitate to enter the branch, not just because of the lines; but also because I have little to offer the remaining sad-faced, trapped employees.
As anyone who follows my reviews is aware, I assess all reviewed merchants for mobility access. This branch gets one star here also; outside doors almost impossible to enter with wheelchair or walker. Recently, I watched a closing door nearly send an elderly walker user to the floor as the door closed on her. A least in my wheelchair, the door bangs on the wheelchair. Kudos to the branch employees who are cognizant of the problem, and will often rush to the door to assist in existing; entering - you are on your own.
Whereas other banks, and credit unions, seem to be serious about consumer banking; Chase is moving in the opposite direction. Far be it for me to impede their march.
