I thought and apparently wrong that Opportunity Village takes donations. I live in Inspirada Community and today was a community wide garage sale. Any leftovers can be donated to Goodwill or Opportunity Village on site. I swing by and ask the two young kids working the Opportunity Village truck if they are accepting donations. Their response, "what do you have?" I told them I have baby/toddler toys, women's clothing, and southwestern decor. They ask if it's loose I tell them it is. They said they don't have any more room in a three quarters empty truck. I said ok you don't want any donations. These two punks said go try Goodwill who I can't stand. I guess this crappy non-profit of an organization doesn't really care about helping others out in need. I'll continue to donate my items to Salvation Army and Women's Shelters who truly care.
