| - **Came in from a recommendation bc of the $20 gel price. Guy who did my nails is the owner's son. Although he was nice and attentive, I could tell their star performance is entitled, "Rush Hour," due to their fast-paced, and poor quality. You start realizing halfway through that this will probably be a botched job as you start noticing all the outdated and unkept, old, nail polish bottles that look like they haven't been dusted since the land of time (dinosaurs), the chairs that haven't been cleaned, nor brushed; the table is just a wonky ass table that moves. I washed my hands in a foot-soaking tub =s that does not seem sanitary to me. Also, their filing and emery equipment looks old and reused (also unhygienic). At the beginning of the appointment, I asked if he liked doing nails, which he replied no. Didn't seem like a good start, considering his answer.. And you can definitely see why after.
I will say the only good things I felt was that I left within a reasonable amount of time (an hour), and that they tried to give me the design I wanted, but honestly, something so simple should have been flawless. (glittered French tips, full gel set with extensions) They filed one pinky more pointier than the other, they didn't even out the gel (uneveness that is both touchable and visible), and the pink colour makes it look ugly lol. At the end, as he was putting on the top coat, he never put cuticle oil, and it looked like he was rushing, so I see his dad whisper something in his son's ear, and after that he took his time to apply it. Sigh
Was recommended bc of the price, but definitely won't be coming back, nor recommending to anyone.
Don't let the $18.99 gel sign outside fool you!
You may as well go to pmall or dt to a real professional and pay extra to get it done how you really want to
