I rented a car from Alamo (using Hotwire) this week for a business trip. When I arrived, I went to the wrong counter, and the person working there walked me over to the right counter. Everyone was very nice. They even called the following day to make sure everything was OK with my car (I was shocked at that). When I returned the car, the person checking it in gave me his manager's card just in case Hotwire tried to charge me extra (I didn't understand that, but thought it was nice anyway). Then, a man (perhaps a manager) came by and just happened to ask how my experience had been. I told him I'd been a little disappointed with the car (it was a Chevy Spark, so tiny). He apologized and then got my information to send me a coupon for future use with Alamo. They went above and beyond any car rental customer serviced I've ever received.
