After almost a year, we decided to go eat in downtown Montreal. I had always heard about Wienstein & Gavinos but never got the chance to go. Finally, I decided to check out this place. They started us of with a mini baguette with olive oil and pesto sauce. Which was a change from your normal butter and bread. We ordered greek salad and grilled octopus. The salad was amazing, the tomatos were really tasty. The octopus was fresh with a nice vinaigrette. We ordered veal parmesan and rib eye steak as our main course. The veal was accompanied with a spaghetti pesto topped with pine nuts. It melted in your mouth the only flaw was it was a bit too salty for my taste. The steak was accomabied with a side salad and fries. It also raste amazing but again a bit salty for our taste. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Ambiance was great, we were near the balcony which had great view of the street. All in all it was a great night and I was really glad i tried it out, I will definitly be going back.
