| - I rearranged my entire work day schedule including leaving 30 minutes early, to make sure I could arrive on time for my Tuesday 6:45pm hair appointment. Upon arriving a few minutes sooner, I called to ask if I should just come in earlier, since I was already here---to my surprise, the receptionist tells me that she is glad I called because my stylist was running behind with her prior appointment & they would need to CANCEL my appointment. Mind you, I was made aware of this cancellation 30 minutes before the appointment. After practically jumping through hoops to make it to this appointment, I was disappointed to say the least, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt & politely agreed to reschedule for Saturday @ 9am.
I woke up in plenty of time to make the 9am appointment only to check my cell phone to see I had received a text from Varji & Varji an hour before my scheduled appointment, telling me my appointment had been moved to 11am!
A phone call to check if I was actually available @ 11am would have been the least they could do. When I called to ask what was going on & explain that this would be the second time they cancelled my appointment--the receptionist that answered said we "don't mess with appointments once they are made". Really? Truly infuriating experience & especially poor customer service. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back. And it's too bad, because the haircuts themselves were good.
If you are looking for a reliable place that treats its customers with respect, go elsewhere.
Unless Varji & Varji wants to continually lose business, they should probably train their receptionists/scheduling staff not to piss off their loyal customers.
