| - If I could rate this to be exact it would be rated 0. These people made it hell for my family. We were told that the house was available for showing earlier than expected (May 3rd to be exact) so we asked for an extension. Meanwhile, we are urged to pay them within 48 hours and have our services on upon move-in. We arrive to the house Friday, May 11th and the house is clearly not clean. It smelled like an animal, the floors smelled like piss, the carpet in the one room was disgusting and filled with animal hair. Not to mention the entire backyard had Animal shit all around. I felt like this was all so unreal but when I asked the leasing agent if anyone needed to still come and get things done around the house, he insisted it would get done but not clearly stating an actual time of when it would get done. I was set to move-in the next day!! May 12th was the day and we met up with this leasing agent Ryan Christensen for our keys but when we walk into the home we see NOTHING had been done. I was infuriated because by now, I've would've been having to move in all my things in and these people were really trying to have our family, my three kids all around the Shit that didn't look was inspected after a move-out. Not only did we waste time with this company but money. They lied about not being able to give us our money back, which we did. They constantly sent us around, telling us to call him/her, when I thought I was paying for this part of the JOB to be done. Amy Wheeler who obviously can't get her scheduling right, sending all the people out to do jobs and all at the wrong times was lying to me over the phone. When asked why there wasn't anyone sent before my move-in to clean up, she simply said she had no answers and didn't take any consideration of the time we needed it done. Instead she took her time and had us waiting all weekend to hear from her after we were told she was contacted. We still had to reach out to her several times and that was, Monday! We were suppose to move-in and we refused because Amy still wanted to lie about when exactly she was sending out people to get the job done. I wouldn't waste my time writing this review if I didn't want to really warn you that is company doesn't have any standards as to how a clean house should look like when you move in. More times than not, people just move-in quickly because they have to settle but don't settle for what you worked hard for. Now thanks to this sorry company I have a week left to move out of this place with our family of 5. I'm better off still having a head on my shoulders than dealing with this bullshit for a ful leasing term. Stay away from Invitation Homes, they're just all about the money and not about helping the people.
