| - I worked in the Warehouse District before Constantino's opened. If I wanted a snack, my only choice was to go to the porn shop next door to my office because they had a soda vending machine and sold cookies, newspapers, etc. Constantino's Market was a dream. I no longer had to walk out of the porn shop and have people wonder what flavor lube I just bought when all I wanted was a Pepsi. (the porn shop is long gone now)
Constantino's offered, and still offers, a great selection of hot and cold prepared foods and desserts. Sushi (chef makes the sushi in the store in front of you), pizza, salad bar, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast sandwiches, etc.
I think of this Constantino's location as urban Heinens. Good wine and cheese selection. Plenty of prepared food options. And a bit pricey.
They've expanded since I worked downtown and have an even greater selection of items. No, it's not the size of a Giant Eagle so their selection of dry goods might be a little less, and since it's downtown, it's going to cost a little more.
The employees there are great. Whenever it's busy, they have plenty of people to run the cash registers and serve food.
Parking is most likely limited to street parking. There's a little parking lot on the side of the building, but I'm not sure how many spaces there are available for use.
This is a great place to stop for lunch or to pick up a dessert, etc.
