  • Stay far far away from here! We are new to the area and chose this because he accepts our insurance and is close to home. Although the doctor is nice, the rest of the staff needs lessons in manners. I should have heeded the warnings of others here. My husband had problems with his bifocals. He had to get new lenses because they didn't put on the glare coating the first time. He asked since they were getting new lenses could they adjust where the bifocal line is. The lady was very snippy and said it is where it is supposed to be. Great but he is the one that has to wear them and it was bothering him. She did change it and it is much better for him at the new level. I went in for my exam and the lady took my glasses to get the prescription off them and proceeded to adjust my glasses! I never asked her to do that, they were fine the way they were. She has this air about her that her way is the only way and what she thinks is best. I see from another post about her helping pick out a lady's frames that she is this way. Well guess what? I have to wear them!! Then my son's frames broke that we bought from there so we went back to order a replacement. They ordered them but the man was very strange when we went back to order. Just very peculiar. They came and the lady swapped out his lenses. When he tried them on, they were tight on one side. After trying to adjust them and her seeming to be impatient, I said he'll try to wear them for a few days and see if it's ok. Well they weren't so we went back today and asked about ordering a new frame. After looking at the frame, the ear piece looked bent from manufacturing. The man was very unprofessional, actually do a snarky laugh. I told him he didn't need to laugh. He tried to adjust it but I don't think he was understanding that we felt the frame was bent. Finally, he agreed to order a new frame. I had brought my frames in to be adjusted. I told my son we're leaving and we're not going back. He said what about adjusting my frames? I said I don't care, I am done! Also, after reading another post here, I question whether Dr. Grant did a thorough exam. He didn't do nearly what my last optometrist in NY did. He didn't dilate my eyes. There's no question we won't be returning!! There are plenty of other eye doctors in Henderson...go somewhere else!!
