| - I travel a lot for work, I stay almost exclusively at Marriott brand hotels and I'm a platinum elite level rewards member, I typically have only good things to say about them. This hotel however, wow. My reservations were made in person by an associate of mine who was already staying at this hotel, two weeks in advance of my stay, he spoke directly to their sales coordinator Heidi, who said they were full Wednesday night of he second week I was supposed to be there but she also said "I'll take care of it, it won't be a problem". So when I tried to check in Monday that second week there was no reservation for me at all, Heidi came out and said my reservation had been switched to a different name but she could fix it. I asked if I was going to be able to stay the whole week and she said yes she'd taken care of it and the clerk checking me in confirmed that I was checked in till Friday. So everything's great right? Nope. Wednesday morning I wake up and there's a bill under my door stating I've been checked out. I took that downstairs to the desk and ask about it because I was told I was ok to stay till Friday, the clerk on duty says he's sorry and no problem he'll extend my stay I can go to work and not worry about it. Around noon, (about 2 and a half hours ago) I get a call that I've been checked out of the room and I have about an hour to come get my things out of the room. Apparently every time I was told "it's taken care of" I was being lied to, and since all of these arrangements were made face to face I never got any confirmation numbers and have no way to prove my side of the story and was very politely told by the hotel management and the corporate customer care people to F off. If you have face to face dealings with anyone at this hotel make sure to get any agreements in writing.
