For my 12th grade English class we had to go on a cultural experience. There were so many different places to choose from but didn't really know what sounded like a place I would enjoy. So my friends suggested a place called Boba Tea House. I wasn't really a fan of tea, and didn't have a clue to what Boba was, but boy was I surprised.
From the moment you enter till the time you leave you are surrounded by a comforting and fun atmosphere. The music is great, there are TVs at every corner, and the staff is fairly friendly. While expecting a small menu I found a plethora of things to choose from. There were snacks, tea, and much more, which each drink the opportunity to add Boba. After examining every item of the menu I felt adventurous and I finally was able to decide on the squid balls and tropical slush with Boba.
At first I was reluctant as to how it would all taste, again I found myself surprised. The tropical slush was delicious and found Boba to be mini tapioca balls that went extremely well with the drink. The squid balls I found to be very similar to fish; it turned out to be spicier then I expected but still good. Overall, it was a unique and surprising great experience. While it was pretty expensive it is worth it to try and visit the Boba Tea House.
