It's really tough reviewing a Hospital because it's really the people ( nurses, doctors etc ) that shape your experience. I mean with my wife's first pregnancy we were registered to give birth at Trilium but after we arrived at the Hospital and were just left sitting in the waiting room for almost an hour we fled. My wife was having contractions and nobody even bothered checking at what stage she was, meanwhile it looked like the nurses were having a great time at the nurses station. We just picked up and left and drove all the way to the Oakville Hospital.
But on the other hand a family member just had a major heart operation and beside one horrible nurse our experience was great.
So it's really a hit and miss, the ER is crazy and be prepared to wait up to 7 hours or even longer unless you are dying as you are brought in through the door. Your better bet is to go to the Etobicoke branch or all together another more rural Hospital.
They also just erected in the recent years the new building which is really nice and modern, big bright rooms with big windows.
