  • I, unfortunately, had to take my kitten in after she was stung by a scorpion. She was in bad shape! She was foaming at the mouth, having a seizure and began to become numb because of the venom. I rushed her to 1st Pet and they took her back immediately! I was so worried about her and and they could see that as well. A vet tech and a vet came in to talk to me within minutes after bringing my kitty back and after putting me in a room. Within 30 minutes of being there a price list was given to me explaining how much everything was after the Vet Tech explained the plan and why she needed these things done for her and treatment began right away. I had to keep my baby there overnight for 3 nights and the overnight prices were very reasonable! They called me periodically to update me on her progress. Everyone was incredibly friendly the entire time! I went in every day while she stayed there to confort her and let her see a face she knew and they never complained or said anything they brought me in a room every time and let me stay with her for as long as I wanted. By the time I took her home the difference in her health was remarkable! You could definitely tell the medication, IV fluids and having her stay overnight had made all the difference. She probably wouldn't have made it if I hadn't brought her in for treatment. I will continue going back to 1st Pet! They don't charge you unnecessarily, they call to let you know exactly what they are doing and why along the way. And they give you a high low on the price estimate sheet. I recently had to bring my kitty in for ringworm and I was able to make an appt same day I called and the treatment was just as good as the first time!
