| - I visited the Plaza Premium Lounge that was for domestic travellers (Canada to Canada destination). The lounge was comfortably decorated, There were sofa seating, a long dining table for diners in a rush, and a computer workstation area. A self-served kitchen featured steamy hot entrées, fresh salads, juices, alcoholic beverages (beers, wines, and spirits) and a variety of hot beverages.
I liked the hot entrée food. It was proper dinner food. It tasted fresher and better than the food at many dining spots in the airport. The selection of alcoholic beverages was not wide. However, since it was self served, you could drink as much as you want. I guess the pro outweighs the con by a large margin.
As I have been to the Maple Leaf Lounge run by Air Canada at Pearson, I couldn't help but compare the two. This Plaza Lounge is smaller. It has fewer windows. The seating area is less spacious. The food and beverages of both lounges are comparable.
