The food here is great! There are vegetarian options (for those that care about that sort of thing) but, I'm a fan of the spicy combination. It's the spicy beef stew, chicken stew (Doro wat) and lentils.
It comes served on top of injera. Injera is the Ethiopian bread. The flavor is similar to sour dough and the texture is sort of like a thicker, more stretchy crêpe. It threw me for a loop upon first bite and then continued to grow on me.The Doro wat was so impressive I taught myself how to make it.
The portions don't seem that big until you start eating...then you realize some of it is going into the box. Then again, I may just be weak willed!
