While walking between Mirage and Bellagio we came across Serendipity 3 at Ceasar's Palace. I remember the location not to far from our home in NYC. I lived in NYC for 16 years and a constant guest at Serendipity 3. We took our girls there for meals and especially the frozen hot chocolates. I made a reservation for the following evening.
When we arrived the next day I was surprised to discover that the restaurant was dead. In NYC we would be fighting outside for seats. Dont expect anything special of the decor like in NYC. This place is huge empty space, kinda biring to be honest. We sat down and I ordered. The staff here was friendly but completely unorganized and confused. Its like everyone is new to the biz here. Not good. I ordered the onion rings tower, mac n cheese with pancetta, and a frozen hot chocolate.
The onion rings were very tasty and came with ranch and bbq sauce. Both sauces were tasty too.
The mac n cheese was very tasty and it was filled with a generous amount of pancetta.
I have had countless drozen hot chocolates at the NYC location over the years. What they brough to the table tasted nothing like it. I am so disappointed because honestly this is what I came here for. Teo otgers in the know at ourbtablr agreed. Great disappointment!!!!!
No eonder it was dead. Never again.
2 stars for good app and entree
-3 for poor frozen hot chocolate, poor service, and poor decor.
