| - It's nice. It's small and it doesn't know what it wants to be.
I used to go to the downtown location (rarely), only because I always found it to be too snobby for the mainstream comic collector. This store has a wall of graphic novels, a small wall of video games, a few tables for tournaments and a small section of back-issues and very little organization. Which, in my small circle of comic book collectors/readers, it's all about organization. You can't have a box start with Wonder Woman, find Amazing Spider-Man mid way and end the box with G.I.Joe. Maybe I'm being too picky or critical, but, I don't want to waist time looking in a box for something and find it in a completely different area.
The people here are nicer than I remember any Hairy Tarantula staff previous (from years past). They actually approached me a few times (even if the store is tiny) and wanted to offer their assistance and THAT I can appreciate.
It's nice and I'll probably go back, but, like I said, I don't know if I'm going back to find comic books, video games or tournaments.
one word .... mah.
