I have been to this store a number of times, and the cashiers were reeeeeally slow and knew not what they were doing, so I took a hiatus from this store and recently tried shopping there again.
The store looks so nice and the cosmetic person is decent...BUT it is a nightmare dealing with the general cashiers. Some are curt, difficult, and waste the customer's time...which is a total surprise for this neighborhood. The dark cashier is especially difficult, snaps and raises her voice at customers, and has air between her ears...an absolute nuisance to deal with and does not belong in customer service. This cashier acts as if she owns the store and is rude as h*ll. A simple common request I made that any other store would easily and willingly do became a BIGGGGGG drama at this Rexall...all because the cashier was refusing to do what she's supposed to do. What a toxic person! This was an unbelievably irritating experience of poor customer service during the holiday season. I cannot get over why a store would hire such awful people. They make customers feel unwelcome. They would have better luck hiring students. Witches need not apply...stay on your broomstick. I will surely take my business elsewhere.
Dear Rexall...some of your employees need to be taught how to talk pleasantly, stay calm, and be facilitating with customers.
They would have gotten ZERO stars if it weren't for the good cosmetic person. I would not recommend shopping here...except if you need cosmetics.
Shoppers Drugmart up the street is a much better choice, or even Loblaws which is wonderful for carrying a wide assortment of products.
