  • This is the kind of bar you have always wanted to visit in college. It's a little nicer, but it still shows a little wear. In other words, it's nice, but not pretentious. Their beer selection is some of the best in the area. If you are looking to try some different, high quality beers, this is the place to be! They also brew at least six of their own beers which are the best in Champaign-Urbana. Some of my favorites are the U of IPA and Raspberry Wheat. The prices are also extreme fair and I would even argue lower for some of their higher quality goods. One of the best parts of this bar is their half off happy hour from 4-6 EVERYDAY. This is one of the best deals I have ever seen at a bar. My friend and I were able to have an hours worth of high quality brews for about $6 each! That is usually the price of ONE good beer in Chicago. The only downside is that the outdoor area is smoking and can waft into the bar. I also don't think they are following the Illinois smoking rules as the ashtrays are less than 15 feet from the door. Smoking aside, this place is legit and recommend it to anybody passing through Champaign!
