I had a decent experience here and I had a bad one. I tend to remember the bad more so that's why I'm going with one star. I also think that any place is best judged by its worst as being the base level for its rating.
Like I said, I stayed two nights and it was a corner room upstairs right across from the little pool. I originally only wanted one night but because it was what I needed, I stayed another.
A week after that, I came back again and the experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and now I probably won't go back. There was a big convention in town shop prices were really high during that. I checked on what it would be for the night I was going to stay and the girl guessed that it would be in the 30s. It wasn't. It was above 50. That night I didn't have a lot of time to go searching for real time prices so I took it remembering how restful of a night I had just a week before. I didn't. I had been telling the girl that I was jumped not long before and was healing. Also that I was jumped by a former roommate which is why I didn't have a place. I was waiting on a new apartment. I had just started a new job and needed good sleep because otherwise I wasn't getting any. The girl put me in a room next to 3 frat guys with no hot water and the tv wasn't working right.
So now, I'm already disturbed from paying more then what was expected, and I'm upset from getting put into an empty hotel in a place I pretty much described would be the worst place to put me. Then, billing gets a hold of my account. First day they are double charging then the next they are double crediting and finally they got it right but being in this transitional period which I clearly informed the girl about, seemed to me it was a bunch of disgruntled workers unhappy with their job that get their kicks from doing "accidental" mistakes that aren't really accidents.
I'll send all of my worst friends here. This place is garbage.
