  • Oh, I can't believe I've forgotten to review this place. I come here about once a month to spend money I don't really have on my favorite skin care products. Every time I come, they give me samples of new products, and some I really love but have run out of. Belonging to the Amore Pacific/Aritaum family of brands, they carry only their own products. Expect to see Mamonde, Laneige, Iope, Happy Bath, and Sulwhasoo here. Possibly a few other brands, but I think that covers most of them. The ladies working here are super helpful and sweet. They always recognize me and seem to remember what I like, though that may just be because I come in too often. Products that I've really fallen in love with include: Biocellulose masks: At $3 a pop I can't use these every day, but I love to use the aloe ones when my skin is particularly irritated or if I've had a bit too much sun. Aritaum Sheet Masks: $1.50 a pop, I use these once or twice a week for a bit of extra moisture. Love the honey, aloe, pomegranate, and rice masks. Especially the pomegranate. Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: $24 I use this over my serum and moisturizer a few times a week, alternating it out with another sleeping mask. It absorbs nicely so my pillow doesn't get sticky and washes off easily in the morning, leaving my skin super soft, plump. It also seems to smooth out what few fine lines I have. I absolutely love this and would climb the highest mountain to get it again.. Luckily, I just need to drive to Chinatown or to Target. I prefer this store though. Laneige Firming Sleep Mask: $30 I actually just bought my first jar of this, but the samples I've used did indeed leave me with firmer, bouncier skin. I'm expecting to completely love this. Water Bank Gel Cream and Water Bank Cream: $32 I believe. The gel is great for combo oily types, or for the summer and days where you want something lighter on the skin. Still very moisturizing. The cream is much heavier, so I usually only use this at night or as an eye cream during the day. The fragrance is very heavy, very old lady perfumey, so if you're sensitive to that you might want to skip. It fades fast though. Laneige Perfect Renew Lotion: $34 Technically, this is supposed to be used UNDER your moisturizer, but I like to use it as a day moisturizer. It sinks right into the skin and provides JUST enough moisture to get me through the day, so long as it isn't winter. Not heavy at all, and comes in a huge bottle. Iope Cushion XP: $40, but comes with a refill. Luxurious to use, and covers redness very well. Only problem I have with this product is if you don't use a setting spray it will move to every fine line and dry patch on your skin, drawing attention to it. Using a setting spray, it looks beautiful. Plus, it has 50spf, though you should still use a sunblock underneath. Products I want to buy, Laneige Time Freeze Wrinkle Filler and the Time Freeze Essence, $40 and $60. A little bit too expensive for me to justify just at this moment, but I have samples of these and I love them. Products that I didn't like: The Iope Plant Stem Cell line. This would probably work ok for someone else, but sadly, I am allergic to one of the ingredients and got bit of a rash trying it out. Looking over this list.. I clearly shop here way too much, but I have no intention of stopping. :P
