I've been wanting to hit up TEXAZ Grill for a while and finally got a chance to last week for lunch. Had read about their chicken fried steak and my mouth was watering before I arrived just thinking about it. Unfortunately, I was completely underwhelmed by my plate. The portion was large and reasonably priced for lunch, but everything on the plate was so bland. The CSF also tasted more stale instead of having a nice, crispy crunch. My friend had the catfish poboy which wasn't anything special. I'll give them the home-fried potatoes...nice crisp outside and perfectly cooked inside. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Prices are a lot more expensive for dinner. Probably won't be back.
