This Smith's does not respect black people or black business. They harass people as they are PAYING FOR THEIR GROCERIES. A manager accused my boyfriend of stealing as he was paying for our groceries last time holding an empty soda bottle and telling him it was his when we don't drink soda. He left understandably angry without buying those groceries. This is the closest smiths to us so we ended up back here. He quickly bought juice. Paid for it. And as he was leaving Melissa the manager stopped him to try to "make a deal" in her own words. He said don't talk to me and continued walking. Then she came out and started pointing to my car and telling other members of the store to come look where I was parked with my son. This angered me and I went inside. The entire staff was unprofessional about their harassment and acted as if they were trying to fight as I'm holding a 1 year old child. Melissa the manager is on a serious power trip and believes she owns the store stating "this is my store" and threatening to kick people out for saying "don't speak to me" she found the first black person in the store to blame for empty merchandise and then upon realizing she was wrong tries to make a deal with him or kick him out of the store. I told her the only thing that needed to come out of her mouth was an apology and she said "how did you know it wasn't" ... Because you didn't. Say. Sorry.
There's another Smith's right up the street. And plenty of Vons and Albertsons in the area. Don't even bother.
