  • I needed to get a spray tan before being a bridesmaid in a wedding. I've never done a spray tan before, but I do lay out in the sun regularly so it was most important that any tan lines I might have were evened out. The girl at the counter was rude when I walked in. No hello, just "what's your last name?" I told her I was here for a spray tan for the first time. She seemed annoyed because this meant she had to go back to the spray booth and show me how to use it. The tan came out uneven and I looked orange. I decided I wanted to ensure it would be even by getting a 2nd tan at another Body Heat when I got off work (some locations are open 24 hours). When I called the other salon, they were extremely helpful. Although I did learn that the rude girl at salon #1 qas supposed to as me for an ID (to ensure I'm 18) and to create an account for me so that when I go to other Body Heat salons they can find me in the system. Additionally, it's $35 for 1 spray tan or $69 per month for unlimited tans, but she didn't notify me until after I paid the $35...which could not count toward my $69 monthly. Luckily, when I went to the 2nd salon she gave me a complimentary tan because the 1st one looked so bad. The girl came in the back showed me exactly what positions to do and was much nicer. The 2nd tan was even and looked more tan, not so orange. I will say it didn't last as long as I hoped it would but I would do it again but not at this location. Go to Body Heat on W. Flamingo instead to avoid snobby girls who don't do their job correctly.
