| - I really like this banh mi! This is just a banh mi stand. You go in, get your food, and go. There is a card table set up with a chair, but I'm pretty sure that's for them to rest in between customers.
The older gentleman came out and spoke to me in vietnamese. I couldn't follow, but later I realized he wanted to sell me the last to sesame balls for $1. Damn the missed opportunity!!!! I had already bought three of them (for $2, I believe?) They weren't the best ever, but they were super duper tasty and reminded me of childhood. :)
I always order the Banh Mi Special. When I went, the bread it was on was perfectly crispy, but just this side of chewy, so perhaps not totally fresh, but it was fine for me, I like my bread that way. The ingredients were super fresh and it was tasty.
I worry they may not be very busy right now, and it would be a shame if they closed. I really enjoyed my banh mi. I usually by them by two, but I only bought one since I hadn't tried it before. I've learned my lesson.
