  • Dr. Menezes should have more than the 5 stars. My 7 year old son needed to have a rather large mole removed from the side of his head and needed to have the removal completed by a plastic surgeon in a hospital setting. The doctor took the time to explain everything to us in detail. All facets of the mole removal were smooth: the pre-op consultation, the surgery scheduling, the surgical procedure, the follow up care were all superior. My 7 year old, curious as can be even had the opportunity to ask the doctor some questions which helped in making my son feel more comfortable about the anticipated surgery. The day of the surgery, my son was waving like a movie star to the nurses as he was entering the surgery room. You would have thought that he was a rock star the way he entered the room for surgery. I have never seen a kid so excited to undergo a surgical procedure. My son, is glad his mole is gone and actually thinks the scar behind his ear is quite COOL. In time it will fade and will become less noticeable. Thank you Dr. Menezes and staff for making a scary situation quite comfortable for my son, myself, and my husband.
