Whether you've tried Crossfit before and are looking for a new box or you're new to the sport, you should definitely give this "box" a try. I've been to several in the city and within North America and these guys really have a good thing going.
Crossfit has gained a lot of popularity & attention over the last few years. It's an intense and amazing sport combining gymnastics, powerlifting and well, just about anything goes which is why I love it. It's a sport, that if not done correctly, you can injure yourself...like anything else.
Now that's where Quantum Crossfit really sets itself apart from the pack. Their programs are specific, their coaches pay very close attention to the detail & quality of what you're doing and they can tailor anything you need depending on your performance level, whether you have an injury, etc. The one on one coaching is second to none. Their coaches are not only well versed in Crossfit specifics but they also know their olympic lifting techniques.
What I really appreciated when I first started over a year ago was my first couple of visits were free - to see how I liked the place & for the coaches to have a chance to evaluate my fitness level in order to ensure I had the fundamentals down before getting into the more technical stuff.
It is a small facility but I think that's what makes it so brilliant. You really do get a chance to connect with other people and the sense of community is fantastic.
Crossfit is really all about community so you'll want to pick a place where you feel comfortable. For me, that's Quantum Crossfit.
