Wow! We have been coming to Blue Cross Vet Clinic since our little guy Wolfgang was a puppy (7 years ago). Dr Ryan is our vet and we love her! The reason I am writing this review is because Dr. Mulla (who was on call after hours on the weekend) saved our dog's life. We were up in Flagstaff for the weekend and noticed our dog was really lethargic, not eating and his breath smelt like nail polish remover (acetone). We had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right but unfortunately it was late at night and all the vet's offices were closed and we weren't sure if we were just being narcotic. We randomly thought about calling Blue Cross Vet to see if they had a Doc on call and we were shocked that they did! We left a message with the answering service and within 10 minutes Dr. Mulla called us back. After listening to us and asking us specific questions she told us to take our dog immediately to the hospital and one that could do blood work and get results back ASAP. Long story short our dog was diagnosed with diabetes and it was so severe that he had DKA which is a life threatening condition. I am so thankful for Blue Cross Vet's on call service where most vet's after hours list hospitals or urgent cares to take your dog to but most importantly we are so thankful for Dr Mulla's prompt phone call back (11pm on a Saturday) she saved our dog's life!
