  • I found Bike Smith Mobile on yelp after reading the reviews. [I don't post 5 stars if someone "plugs my flat tire" and didn't screw it up.] I own a couple of 1000cc Sport bikes and do basic maintenance myself like tire changes, oil -clutch-brake fluid changes, brakes pads, rotors, chains, sprocket changes, etc. I don't have valve service expertise and don't always have a lot of time. I learned to do maintenance because of expensive rates, long shop lead times/delays and sometimes I have discovered basic work to be poorly/incorrectly done. I am a daily, year-round commuter, regular canyon rider and also some track duty (6x year.) I was looking for a mechanic who I could trust and who cared about my bike and it's operation as much (or more) than I did for both performance and safety reasons. The other reviews are right on track. I watched Scot work most of the time perform full service on my 07Honda CBR1000RR. He answered any question I had. No attitude and seemed to enjoy sharing bike mechanic knowledge. He worked quickly and I could see he knows his stuff. He was like a machine and never even took a break. I told him I wanted to service anything that needed to be done. He showed me a lot of things which did not need changing/replacing (and explained why) and did quick adjustments on some things he noticed (and why.) He took the time to show me the valves, my measurements vs. spec (since I asked.) He said, "I like to keep customers for life." If you do fair work and are honest, people will see this and keep coming back. And I will. Excellent work. [He also power-washed the bike afterwards.] The bike ran beautifully at the track the next day. I hate to tell people about Scot because I'm afraid he'll be to busy next time I need service but Scot is a good guy. I look forward to using him again.
