Ok, gotta admit some of the reviews scared me but when Medicare says go there, well, you go there! The waiting room is sparse but clean with lots of OK chairs and one tv BUT that is not what you are there for, what's behind the door is... What's behind the door is wonderful and caring staff and lot's of them! You have your own nurse who does all the intake stuff and starts your IV. Then they cover you with a nice warm blanket and also tell you how many patients are ahead of you (remember this facility is used by many doctors, not just yours). An OR nurse comes and introduces him/herself and off you go. My nurse was wonderful and talked/joked with me the whole way. Once inside the OR that nurse does the heart monitor stuff and then the anesthesiologist (mine was a nice, jovial gentleman) comes over with the magic white stuff and BOOM you wake up in the recovery room again with your own nurse who checks your vitals, gets you a drink, helps you dress and gives the discharge orders. The entire time there was a lot of people everywhere taking care of patients and I never heard anything but friendly, caring, helpful voices. I would not hesitate to reccomend this Center to my own family and there can be no higher rating than that!
