| - Okay. The process of buying a car SUCKS. It takes all day, and you get sick of signing your life away after about 23 times of being reminded that today is the 20th, and it's still 2017. Remember when all we wanted as children was to be adults? Maybe we should make kids buy a car and they'd change their minds, and then take a nap. I'm ready for that nap.
Ethan at Day Apollo Subaru kinda has drained all the sucky-ness out of the car buying process. I researched the car I wanted, knew my payment, and exactly how much I wanted for my trade. (I try to come in as an intimidating force, being a woman buying a car. I don't want to get taken for granted.) I didn't even need to come out guns blazing. Ethan made the whole process smooth and easy. He got me what I wanted for my trade in (I miss you, Aretha! Thank you for your service!) even after his manager came back with a lower number. He worked with me to find a manageable payment for my budget, and got me into a brand. new. car. It's a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. And it's orange.
I started to feel a little uneasy about half way through the day. All that adulting was stressful. Ethan grabbed me a cup of Zen tea and a cookie and told me everything would be okay. That's really going the extra mile. He really has the stigma of "car salesman" reversed. He's not pushy, he was knowledgeable, and told me why my purchase was the right one. Facts are great when you are dropping almost half your yearly salary on a car!
So, big shout out to Ethan. Thanks for making a crappy situation not so crappy.
Go see Ethan! Tell him I sent you!
