I have shopped at this Famous Footwear for years, today is the last time.
I spent 150.00 there two weeks ago, two pairs for me and a pair of Vans for my Grandson. My grandson asked the salesperson if the Vans would split at the crease...separate fabric from rubber...the salesperson told him if we bought the waterproofing spray...yes, I should have known better...and sprayed the shoes that they would not split...well, 1 1/2 weeks later they were split. So we went in today and we were going to exchange them for a pair of Nikes so we wouldn't have the problem again. My grandson tried on 6 pairs...none fit correctly. The manager said only exchange...because they were worn...well, they were Defective!!! And he couldn't find another pair.... I finally lost it so she gave me a store credit grudgingly. No refund on the waterproofing spray even though her salesperson mislead us.
Remember he only wore them a week and a half and they split...they were DEFECTIVE! No Refund just store credit....
Asked at Kohls if they would have refunded under those circumstances, yes, they would so would many other stores...
Now I am stuck with a store credit for a store that I won't go to again!
