We went on a Friday with a group of friends. We waited about 25 minutes before being seated. This place was packed with a wait list over 45 minutes by the time we left.
This was our first visit, but our friends know the owner and have been several times before. I was told everything is good which I trusted based on how busy it was. I ordered the Friday night special, which was rouladan. It was delicious. The beef was tender and exploding with flavour. The red cabbage was a little crunchy, (yum) the home fries were delicious, especially slathered in gravy. My kid ordered a hot dog. He liked it, which is good because in general he doesn't like anything. I do kind of feel bad that we went without my husband, whom was born in Germany and hasn't had German food in years, but he was fortunate enough at the time to be stuck in Lviv so he was getting some good eats in out there...
The price is very inexpensive considering the amount of food you get. The decor is tasteful and has a family feel to it. The seating is tight but I can totally understand wanting to use every possible space to get more people in.
I can't wait to go again soon, but this time take my husband.
