We booked through Priceline and were told this hotel was dog friendly and booked letting them know we would have small dogs. I even double-checked the hotel website to verify the dog friendly status. When we checked in we were accused of sneaking the dogs in, then accused of lying that we booked as a pet friendly hotel, then were charged a $200 deposit and threatened, if we didn't pay, we had to find somewhere else to stay. The "deposit" was nothing more than a punishment, because had they cared or checked, they would have seen the nasty floors that existed at check in. They did no inspection, just put the hold on at the beginning of the stay and removed at the end of the stay. If a hotel doesn't want pets, that's fine, but to be treated the way we were was wrong and looks bad on both this hotel and Priceline.
