  • First time at the Luxor and was so excited to stay in the actual pyramid. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to the towers, but declined, again, couldn't wait to stay in the actual pyramid. I even called 2 days in advance to confirm late check-in and my hotel booking. When I arrived, there were no rooms left. I asked how is this possible, I confirmed my reservation two days ago. She replied, I don't know why they do that. I then said, can I upgrade within the pyramid and mind u, this was an expense to me! There weren't any rooms, except the towers. The newly renovated room was ok, nothing spectacular and minimal towers. I felt like I was staying at a motel, not a hotel!
