I've been wanting to try Gaucho for a long time. I've heard so many good things, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The menu is extensive, there were many options to choose from. I went with the Parrillada Mixta so I could sample as much as possible; it includes NY strip, chorizo, and chicken with sauces and toast. Due to a minor mix-up we also ended up with the Camerones (shrimp). Everything was delicious! The food was amazing, I'm kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to try it out.
We arrived around 6pm on a Friday and had a small wait to order food, and ended up sitting at the counter to eat because there were no open tables. There were only two of us so this worked out well. The service was great. We didn't have to wait long for the food after we ordered and the servers were attentive but not intrusive. The line was growing out the door by the time we left, so I would recommend arriving as early as possible. Otherwise, you can expect a long wait (especially with larger groups). All in all it was a great experience- I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
