  • Came here with a friend. I had the chicken dinner and she had the brisket sandwich. First, I was immediately impressed with how much food I got for $15. You get 4 pieces of fried chicken and a mountain of fries. My friend was about to order her own fries but I asked her not to- and it was a good choice. The chicken was good- nothing to write home about particularly. Although I do wish that you could choose between dark meat and white meat- because I hate white meat and the difference in tenderness between the two was very obvious. The fries were nice a crispy- but a little salty! Good thing they kept refilling my water glass. Real Texan BBQ was way better but this is a nice little place in the city. Would come back to try the brunch.
