  • Stopped in here after Mr K's closed in our face. We were hot and sweaty, served ice cold water with fast refills right away. Got our order--and as usual I had mine customized to something off-menu--quickly and the check was brought immediately. I had a strawberry-basil limeade so good and thick that you couldn't even see the basil at first. Was so good I didn't even mind the bubbles. The mint choco-chip malt wasn't that minty (which was great for me) and had HUGE actual chocolate chips in it. She brought it out and poured it into the old fashioned glass from the large silver shake mixing cup right in front of us. She left the metal cup on the table as it was still plenty full after filling the malt glass--nearly another malt's worth was in there. And I really liked that it wasn't too thick to drink; I like my ice cream to have that oozy melted texture. Perfect!
