| - Sort all these comments by date and read them. To put it simply, ownership does not care. They're making money hand over fist at other locations and have let this place slide into a crevice deep into the earth. If they gave a damn about the customer, and customer service in general, these comments would stop flowing. This could be "the" sports bar to go in Arcadia with minimal effort. As a (former) long time regular, most of the comments you read here are spot on and the norm these days. Slowly but surely they're losing the core of their business, their regular customers. Goldman Group: The authors of these comments aren't bitter former employees with a grudge. These were your loyal customers. Start listening. They're doing you a favor by giving you feedback.
PROS
* A history of solid staff behind the bar for the most part.
* Outstanding technology (I.e. number of TV screens, screen placement, etc.).
* NFL Sunday Ticket and individual TV's labeled with what game will be shown on that screen.
* Beers specials and beer portion size.
* Decent, but shrinking, group of regular customers.
CONS
* High floor staff turnover.
* Store Management does not know sports. Setting the TV's for current and appropriate sports content should be a basic fundamental, ya know, for a "sports bar." Game sound for appropriate games should trump their weak Muzak selection. Katy Perry anyone?
* Food quality has consistently declined over time. Forget about ordering their specialty, wings, well done or crispy. They won't be cooked to order. ALWAYS check your to-go order before you leave the bar. It's often wrong.
* Bathrooms are not well kept.
* Nickle and dimed for extra anything.
* Seat comfort at the bar high top tables.
* Management. The decent managers have been transferred to other stores or have apparently left for greener pastures. Current store management doesn't have a common sense clue about service.
In a nutshell Zipps Ownership, customers want a reason to come to this location. They really do. It's conveniently located and could be a sports bar with a great vibe. We've given you chance after chance and you consistently fail and disappoint. If you're not going to listen and improve, close the place down and let someone take the space who knows what they are doing and gives a damn.
