Ok I realize this place is really popular and it's supposed to be just like pizza in Italy and all that. This sort of pizza just isn't my cup of tea, but it was flavorful. Don't hate me for not loving it, sorry yelpers. The sauce is very light and there isn't much cheese at all (it's probably fresh), and the toppings are used sparingly. I prefer lots of veggies and a tiny amount of salt from a little meat (or anchovies, yum), and this wasn't like that at all.
My husband had the margherita with prosciutto and roasted garlic, and I had the quattro stagioni. I really loved the quality of the mushrooms on my pizza and the salame. After a little bit my pizza got very soggy and it wasn't so good. I also had an ensalate which wasn't remarkable as it was just lettuce and Parmesan, but it made me feel like I got some veggies in my diet.
This pizza is really similar to the meal we had at Enoteca, Mario Batali's restaurant at the Venetian that I absolutely hated. Settebello is definitely better than Mario's establishment, and the price is very reasonable.
