  • It is with disappointment, a heavy heart, and reluctance I write this review. I have put it off for years and I can no longer delay it. Thinking I was smart to enter after Christmas 2014 to pick up a bag or two, I excitedly arrived one Saturday night and I could not have been more disappointed. The store had a different vibe than it had a few months ago. Everyone knows outlets carry seconds or the discontinued items from retail. I wasn't expecting much by way of design. To be honest I was after a simple black tote/bucket type bag. They in fact had them, and for $129+ they were AWFUL. They had several styles to choose from and they all looked cheap. The Coach label was off. The handle drop was too short. The sizing not consistent. What was supposed to be leather looked & felt like plastic. The sales people were a bit overbearing, following me everywhere, desperate for a sale. Interjecting bits of info I could care less about. However, the few times I asked for assistance no one would help me, passing me off to someone else or giving the "I don't know" response to my questions. For example, I decided on a pair of sunglasses & asked how much they were as they were not marked. After having them snatched out of my hand & being told I couldn't walk around the store with them, and being quizzed on if I was in fact going to buy them...I was told she didn't know the price, the girl at the register would tell me, and Oh by the way this is the last pair...and walked off. So I go to the register to pay. It is closing time. I just want to pay & leave. Seems simple, yes? Nope. After being quizzed for my address & phone & email, all which I declined to give, I'm lectured on how they have to have my personal details for the sale. I've worked retail, they don't need it & I was not about to give it to them. They only need my money in exchange for the item. After much back & forth the transaction is completed. So to sum it up: stalker sales people, not helpful or friendly, battling over my contact info to make a sale, and having poor quality items that make Walmart look high end...I'll not return. Yes I know stock is hit or miss & yes I know its an outlet. Any merchant I walk into, there is a certain level of respect I expect to receive. I didn't get it here. Not even a sliver. What I've noticed in retail the last several years is these employees are quite young, which automatically translates to disrespectful & combative. I'll not stand for it.
